BUY Stanley Cup Playoff Tickets
The 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs start this week with some very interesting first round match ups. The Philadelphia Flyers try to continue their season dominance over the NJ Devils and knock out the #2 seed. The Chicago Blackhawks take on the Nashville Predators with the hope of making a deep playoff run and returning to a once elite status in NHL teams. The Pittsburgh Penguins begin defense of their 2009 Stanley Cup Championship from the number four seed in the east in a tough first round match up with the Ottowa Senators, and if they can win that a HUGE potential second round tango with the Washington Capitals.
Ticket prices in the secondary market are usually a good deal for first round games and then steadily move up in cost the deeper teams get to the quest of hoisting the Stanley Cup. With the exception of Mellon Arena for the Pens, you should be able to buy upper level seats for $40 to $60 a ticket with no problem. Lower level tickets will run you about one and half times face but could dip close to face value near game day. Delivery of tickets via email or will call pick up, makes getting your tickets a hassle free transaction.
